H&M provided extensive design services for the de-bottlenecking of the Polymer Chemical Nouryset Plant. Field verified and routed large quantities of small-bore stainless steel piping. Drainage and spill control was included in the scope of the design.

Provided design, fabrication and installation for two proto-type skid mounted laboratory pilot plants and one skid mounted TMI Reactor Scale-up pilot plant project.
BASELL USA INC. - Baytown
Potable Water Upgrade - Phase II
Provided project management, engineering and cad service to develop a Class "A" Package for the purpose of obtaining competitive lump sum bids for construction of the Phase II upgrade of the potable water system. The Class "A" Package consisted of bid documents including the Invitation to Bid scope of work including but not limited to scope definition, equipment specifications. PFDs, P&IDs, piping isometrics, foundation design and layouts, electrical and instrumentation specifications and design complete with applicable construction drawsings is for construction. In addition the Client requested and was provided a construciton estimate with grade qualification of +/- 10%.
BORDEN CHEMICAL INCORPORATED
Catalyst Change-out - $65,000
Provided supervision, labor equipment and material for an unscheduled unit turnaround. Dismantled two reactors, removed the spent catalyst for disposal. Charged the reactors with new catalyst and reassembled the reactors. Additional work included installing new packing in a scrubber along with several large bore stainless steel piping modifications.

PSV Documentation
Provided engineering and field technical verifiation to support the service and sizing documentation of approximately 840 pressure relief valves in the Baytown Polymer Center pilot plant complex.
GNI CHEMICALS CORPORATION
Cytec - $1.2 Million
H&M provided all piping, structural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation design for this project. Provided instrument and electrical equipment specifications, cost estimates and purchase orders. Provided major structural modifications and calculations for the expansion of the existing structure to support large Rotary Drum Filter and associated equipment. Equipment modifications and a new refrigeration unit were evaluated, selected and engineered.Sartomer - $1.4 Million

GOODYEAR
Centrifuge Upgrade - $1.25 Million
Replaced existing centrifuge and feeder with new higher capacity units, upgraded associated pumps, piping and instrumentation. Existing structure and floor was modified to accommodate the new centrifuge and feeder.V-332/V-333 Upgrade - $400,000
Relocated a new and larger tank V-332, two new pumps and all associated piping. Replaced existing tank, V-333 and reworked associated piping.Vent Header System - $1.5 Million
Increased the capacity of the existing vent system by adding a Collection Header, K.O. Drum and Seal Tanks. In addition a new blower and burner for the existing steam boiler were added. The tanks and blower were located in an existing structure requiring extensive modifications at each level. The new burner required all of the associated piping to be reworked. New paving, foundations and steel framing for a new cover over the entire boiler area was also added.
ICI AMERICAS
BP Expansion - $5 Million
This project involved a grass roots design for two (2) 50 M3 tanks in a new diked area complete with structural racks, platforms, sumps, and tank truck loading and offloading facilities. The process piping configuration was very complex and involved extensive steam/hot water-jacketed pipe. H&M provided all the design, estimates and bid packages for this project.
TEXAS MOLECULAR LLC
Capital Products- $1 Million
Provided Civil, Structural, and Piping Design for the installation of a new Thermal Oxidizer, Boiler and Filtered Water System. Also provided construction services for the installation of the piping, structural, miscellaneous auxiliary equipment, instrumentation and electrical systems.

Concrete Containment Walls - $80,000
Provided engineering, design and construction to redesign and rework existing concrete containment walls in the waste disposal area.
